Here’s a bit of retro-horror-noir for you…. in short song form….

Why does he do the things he does? Apparently, it’s only ‘cos he’s lonely. Oh, right, I guess that’s OK then!? No, pal. Cease and desist at once, you massive creep!

Song For Dave is tongue-in-cheek reflection upon all the shady characters that seem to dwell within our songs and a dedication to long-time Silverlode drummist, the dearly departed David Doran. But let’s be clear here, it’s a song FOR Dave, and not ABOUT Dave. (Did that even need specifying?) And again, just to be clear, he’s alive and well, thankfully. Christ, this seemed like a good idea at the time.
